About me

Jeffrey Roth got bitten by the acting bug early, ever since being randomly selected from the school choir in fourth grade to participate in the local high school’s production of The Music Man in New Jersey. He immediately discovered the joy in play and storytelling, and pursued that throughout his college career. Leaving the musicals behind, he studied Meisner and Stanislavski while also focusing on both Shakespeare and Clowning. Jeffrey had come to discover that acting is an incredible exercise in empathy, learning more about the human condition and the world around him, and finding personal growth with every role he has taken on. Now an award-winning actor based in NYC with a decade of experience in film and theater, Jeffrey continues to share his passion, hoping to connect with audiences. Through his performances, he strives to extend empathy for the characters he portrays and the stories he helps tell, holding up a mirror for viewers to reflect on themselves and the world around them. Jeffrey is also a musician and a cat lover, and can often be found playing open mics around the city when not enjoying his vinyl collection with his own cat at home, or trying to keep up on political discourse with his brilliant, poli-sci doctorate wife.
